First game I've beaten in 2026, and, my first experience with survival horror games.

The horror aspect of the game was really underwhelming, I thought it was going to be scary and all, of course, there are scary moments, like the Verdugo boss battle and the Regenerators, but yeah, maybe my expectations were wrong though.

With this being said, the gameplay is really fun, and this game knows how to be corny just the right way, with Leon delivering his edgy lines, and at the end it was more of a badass action movie than a horror game.

In general it was a good first experience with the genre, the gameplay was fun, the characters are interesting, the lore is intriguing, not much for me to complain, and I'll probably buy RE9.
